What is the most effective cleanser inside that is also non-toxic? |
Have you ever wondered what is on the overwhelming smell of your household cleaning supplies? Those chemicals are often carcinogens and they stick around on the surfaces for you to keep breathing in deeply. Even if you can’t smell them, the residue is there. Indoor air pollution is a growing concern….people polluting their own inside environment without realizing it!
MOME:life keeps 2 spray bottles on hand…stored on our HOLD ME shelf next to the kitchen sink. One is full of plain white vinegar, the other is full of hydrogen peroxide. [buy it on sale at the grocery or drug store] Don’t pre-mix or it loses its effectiveness as a germicide. Spray one, then the other. The combination of the 2 kills more germs than bleach and is completely non-toxic. In fact, our young kids here at MOME:life help us clean with no fear of toxic dangers. We keep Peroxide in Pink and Vinegar in Violet….just so we can remember. If you don’t like the smell of white vinegar you can add a drop or two of essential oil….rosemary or lemon are both known for their germicidal yet fragrant qualities. Keep them handy on STICK TO ME, HOLD ME or SHOW
